Position Goal: Responsible for daily operations of all HOT locations including physician call calendars, education of staff and metrics associated with management agreements

Position Responsibilities:
  • Formulates onboarding procedures for new HOT locations including staff and providers
  • Establishes implementation training tools and resources for staff
  • Ensures proper training and retraining as needed for providers including Athena, PMD, and Entrada etc.
  • In conjunction with COO and Trauma Practice Coordinator monitors staff efficiency and productivity
  • Implements and monitors newly established or revised operational policies or guidelines within HOT
  • Ensures procedures and protocols in place for compliance with Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration initial and resurvey regulations
  • Responsible for ensuring clinic operations are efficient and timely to support revenue cycle activities per policy and procedures
  • Works with COO of HOT and site physicians to ensure call coverage obligations are met in accordance with Hospital contracts and manages any changes or required updates
  • Gathers and aggregates metrics data as outlined in HOT contracts
  • Provides education and feedback on areas of opportunities identified from contract metrics to ensure HOT meets and/or exceeds established metric thresholds
  • Ensures HOT maintains established budget and can explain variances
  • Assists COO with physician quality data and reports
  • Must be able to make independent operational decisions in an effective manner
  • Other duties as assigned by COO
Experience: Minimum of three to five years of office management experience with at least 1 year within a healthcare entity
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in Health/Business Administration required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
Special Qualifications: Knowledge of office management, computer systems and applications.  Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written. Must be able to effectively read and interpret reports, identify trends as appropriate. Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced/stressful environment. Must demonstrate good independent judgement within trauma line of business. Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must be in good standing
