Hours M-F 12 pm to 5 pm

Position Goal: The Human Resources Assistant will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department.

Position Responsibilities;

  • Reports directly to CHRO.
  • Completes assignments as instructed.
  • Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office.
  • Recruiting and staffing.
  • Coordinates processes between the applicant and Manager until offer is made and accepted. Ensures receipt of Manager interview guide prior to offer. Ensures follow up letter to applicants not selected for the position.
  • Prepares and maintains reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the Human Resources department.
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings as necessary and to represent the department.
  • Create/Issue badges as necessary (serves as back-up).
  • Assists with coordinating clinic special events/clinic celebrations, employment related events and special projects as needed.
  • Serves as back up for the administration of Hughston  Educational Program
  • Ensures compliance with I-9/e-verify process.
  • Ensures accuracy by completing file checklists with appropriate follow through to correct any deficiencies noted.
  • Maintaining employee files
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality at all times.
Experience: One Year Human Resources administrative/clerical experience or equivalent education required. Medical environment experience preferred. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Adobe Acrobat required.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Higher education preferred.
Special Qualifications: Must be able to work independently with ability to multitask. Strong organizational skills a must. Sound judgment and problem solving skills, excellent communication skills both written and oral, knowledge of HIPAA, knowledge of HR best practices and regulations.
