Position Goal: To effectively collect patient data prior to patient appointments.  Must maintain smooth flow for all Clinical Staff Support (CSS) representatives.

  • Responsible to train all new hires in CSS role.
  • Travel to satellite offices to provide clinic coverage when needed
  • Provide a daily clinic schedule/ lunch schedule for the CSS team due to constant changes of physician schedules
  • Monitors the flow of each intake employee to try to alleviate the schedule from falling behind while performing intake on patients for assigned physicians.
  • This person holds meetings and sends reminders of any changes in workflow or procedures per physician requests.
  • Responsible for periodically reviewing documentation done by Intake employees to monitor and correct for learning purposes.
  • The lead communicates with the physicians and staff when problems arise and provides daily physician schedules to the Front Office and Medical Assistants.
  • Responsible for correcting and approving time for the Intake employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience: Two year clinical experience and one year supervisory experience required.
Education: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Special Qualifications: :  Must be able to work independently and have working knowledge of HIPAA requirements.
