Position Goal: Answer all incoming calls as quickly and professionally as possible; direct them to the appropriate extension
Position Responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming calls quickly and professionally.
- Page physicians and employees when necessary.
- Take messages for various departments and employees, screening calls when necessary.
- Assist Appointments Department by looking up appointments and giving directions to the Clinic.
- Assist Professional Reimbursement Department by stuffing and mailing claim forms.
- Forward calls to answering service at 5:30 p.m. each day.
- Assists the HR department as needed with special projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Special Qualifications: Familiarity with PBX system
