Position Goal: To ensure patient insurance benefits are verified prior to scheduled appointment date. To consult with patients when there is a problem with verifying coverage.
 
Position Responsibilities:
  • Obtain required information to verify benefits from Appointments department
  • Inform patients of benefit determination
  • Enter corrected or updated insurance information into system

Experience: Knowledge of insurance plans required. Medical office and data entry experience preferred.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Special Qualifications: Working knowledge of HIPAA
